The following are brief descriptions of positions we recruit for on a regular basis. If a position is currently available, it will be noted in parenthesis (current opening), with a link to the job description and how to apply.

Electrical Engineers
Design and support the electrical circuits that control and create a welding system from power sources to wire feeding units. Systems may be static, plugging into utility power, or rotating, creating electrical energy from an engine and generator. Skills required include inverter and power conversion design, generator design, analog and digital control design, magnetics design, software and embedded micro-controller design.

Mechanical Engineers
Design and support mechanical structures and packages used in welding systems. Systems may be static, plugging into utility power, or rotating, creating electrical energy from an engine and generator. Skills required include structure design, plastics design, sheet metal design, casting design, and air flow and thermal management.

Welding Engineers
Evaluate product performance during the product design phase and provide operator perspective for initial product specification. Consult end users and MILLER distributors regarding welding process issues and optimum product selection for particular applications.

Sales
Manage all distribution channels for MILLER and Hobart welding machines, including but not limited to assessing training needs of end users and distributors, and developing and administering sales promotions. Travel is required.

Marketing
Develop, manage, and integrate brand-building and objective-based marketing communications that are innovative, measurable, and that consistently deliver a reasonable return on investment at both the corporate and business unit levels.
